On behalf of the organizing committees, it is our pleasure to extend to you a warm invitation to The 7th International Symposium on Physics of Membrane Processes (PMP2024) & The International Symposium on Separation Technologies Applied Research and Translation (IS-START2024). This joint event will be held in person at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore from 2 - 6 December 2024. This joint event is co-organized by Membrane Society in Singapore (MEMSIS) and Singapore Membrane Consortium (SGMEM).

 

The International Symposium on Physics of Membrane Processes covers research into understanding the fundamentals of membrane transport processes, with special attention to aqueous solutions. We discuss recent developments in membrane and system-level transport phenomena, multi-phase flows in membrane systems, for membrane technologies including ion-exchange membranes, electrodialysis, nanofiltration, and reverse osmosis, as well as for other new promising membrane methodologies.

 

This year, PMP2024 will be held in conjunction with IS-START2024, which emphasizes the translation of membrane theories into practical applications across water, resource, energy, and environmental sectors. Together, these symposia promise a comprehensive exploration of membrane science from fundamental research to real-world implementation.
